Ross has 30+ years consulting experience covering Organisation Design, Change and Transformation Management, Performance Management, Leadership Development, & Human Resource Management.

He has recently retired from EY as an Associate Partner with their People Advisory Services consulting practice, and is now focusing on a portfolio of governance, organisational effectiveness consulting and voluntary work.

He has run his own business as an independent business consultant working with clients to deliver solutions in the people and culture area. His main areas of focus are:

  • Organisation Design, both enterprise and functional
  • Transformation Management
  • Talent Management strategy & implementation
  • Reward Management

During his time at IBM (and prior to that with PwC Consulting), he was designated as the Organisation & People Consulting Services Lead for New Zealand, and the AsiaPacific Lead for the IBM Organisation Design Community of Practice.

He also acted as the New Zealand Lead for the delivery of IBM’s global C-Suite study programme, including the Making Change Work Study, the CIO Studies, the CHRO Study, and CEO Studies over a 5 year period.

He has provided strategic business advice to many different organisations across a range of industries including, financial services, manufacturing, public sector, health, communications and information services.

Prior to joining IBM, he spent 10 years working for a US – based multinational organisation in a variety of senior human resources roles.
