The cost to your business of having injured staff at home and not contributing to your productivity is significant. Last year injured workers were away from work for over 18.5 million days which is a huge loss to NZ’s productivity. If an injured worker is away from work for just 45 days there is only a 50% chance that they will ever return to your company so acting quickly and working with ACC and medical professionals is vital for your business.

This webinar from ACC will cover the important considerations when your staff are injured, including:

  • what injuries are and are not covered by ACC
  • what will ACC provide and what are the employers responsibilities
  • the role of medical professional (med certs and rehab)
  • changes to ACC’s case management and the tools provided to allow you to stay abreast of claims on your company account
