This event is brought to you in partnership with HRNZ and the IO Psychology Special Interest Group (IOSIG)
Join us as Kate Maroulis and Georgina Kirk from Kindred - Psychology at Work explore how we can better live diversity and inclusion in the workplace in a practical way. The challenges that people with learning disabilities and neurodiversity face in securing meaningful employment will come at no surprise, despite these individuals' vast potential and the proven benefits of their inclusion, including enhanced workplace culture, authentic diversity and inclusion, and tapping into an untapped workforce. Kate and Georgina will share positive stories, introduce a guide to support inclusive hiring for employers and jobseekers, and will discuss the principles of inclusive design and how everyone can design better solutions for marginalised groups and better solutions generally by focusing on these principles in design processes.
