Jay Barrett, Glia – Workplace Psychologists
Jay Barrett is a registered workplace psychologist with the New Zealand Psychologists Board, dedicated to helping organisations and leaders achieve their strategic mental health objectives. Using evidence-based tools, he strengthens organisational capabilities by fostering a culture of psychosocial wellbeing, health, and safety, even in the face of complex challenges. Today, he partners with businesses of all sizes to optimise psychological health and workplace culture, helping them navigate the complexities of mental health in modern workplaces. Holding a Master’s degree in Psychology, Jay brings a unique and diverse background to his work. From competing as a world-class athlete and working as a performance psychologist in high-pressure sports environments to captaining commercial superyachts, his breadth of experience shapes his approach to workplace psychology.
