Presenter Details

Olivia Marshall

Olivia joined the HRNZ Otago Branch Committee in July 2021 after jumping into the world of recruitment. Olivia comes from a non-traditional HR path, however found her way to recruitment from her experience as an Operations Manager & completing her Masters of Entrepreneurship. Olivia’s passion for business, relationship building & management led her to pursue a role in white collar recruitment, where she ran the HR, Sales & Marketing desks in a 360 capacity. She has a passion for people focused mahi, creativity, and helping others succeed. Her experience led her to join a Startup called Givenwell, an employee wellbeing platform. as Product & Experience Manager. Outside of work, Olivia loves spending time at the beach with her dogs and owns two businesses that keep her busy.

Pauline Latta

A strategic recruitment expert, Pauline has managed a number of organisations recruitment including NZ Post South, Southern DHB, and Labtests recruitment. She was most recently ANZ’s Head of Recruitment NZ. Pauline has conducted thousands of interviews across all levels of an organisation for both internal and external recruitment. She also has agency experience, has mentored CEO's and boards on recruitment process and has run her own business in this space. Pauline has international experience across many sectors and now mentors’ students regarding interviews. Having created the Mocksey App she supports and trains young people in interview skills, allowing them to practise against different interview personalities. Pauline's vast experience in this space allows her to help many applicants navigate the interview space and improve in both confidence and thought process as they look to gain employment or get promoted within their current company.

Tania Gough

Tania is the co-founder and director of Savvy Up Limited. Our vision at Savvy Up is for all workplace professionals to be engaged in meaningful work, to be equipped to thrive in the workplace and to pass this knowledge on to others. Tania has held a range of human resource management and consultancy roles in the New Zealand public and private sectors in the last twenty years. Tania’s areas of expertise include individual skills coaching, team development, leadership development and design and development of HR frameworks. Tania also regularly facilitates the Outward Bound Professional Leadership programme.
