HRNZ’s Chartered Membership programme is the only professional standard for HR practitioners in Aotearoa, New Zealand. Chartered membership demonstrates commitment to and leadership within the HR profession.
This webinar will demystify the chartering process. HRNZ Chief Executive Nick McKissack will break down the process and explain the HRNZ capability framework, The Path. You will also hear from a current assessor and a recently-chartered member about what chartering means to them, their experience of the process, and their tips and tricks.

Presenter Details

Nick McKissack, Chief Executive, HRNZ

Nick has been the Chief Executive of HRNZ since July 2018. Since his appointment, he has been leading the organisation through a period of change and modernisation. Nick started his career in human resources roles at New Zealand Post before moving into general management roles with QV and Te Tumu Paeroa.

Jemma Souness, People & Culture Leader

Jemma is a People + Culture Leader, with 20 years’ experience including leading remote, in person and matrix People + Culture teams across 11 countries for a $4B industry leader. Her daily focus can be varied across Strategy, Planning, Design and Leadership, and Jemma has a personal goal to make an impact each and every day as a coach, sponsor, mentor and advocate - she is passionate about transforming the relationship people have with work. Jemma has been involved with HRNZ in several capacities through the years, including previous presidency of the Taranaki branch, 3 years as a Chartered Membership Assessor and over the last year she has been part of the HRNZ Mentor pool

Chanon Cations, People Lead, Worley NZ
