Canterbury Concrete Cutting NZ Limited was fined $229,921 at the Christchurch District Court on 19th February after an incident resulting in a worker losing three fingers. Mangere based export logging company, Guru NZ Limited, was ordered to pay $330,750 at the Manukau District Court after a worker was crushed and later died.
