HRINZ is delighted to announce the appointment of Nick McKissack as our new Chief Executive, starting on July 2, 2018.

I am delighted to announce the appointment of Nick McKissack as the new Chief Executive of HRINZ. Nick comes with a wealth of experience at senior leadership level, including roles as GM Finance, GM Human Resources, Chief Operating Officer and long periods as Acting CEO.

He comes to the Institute following 9 years at Te Tumu Paeroa/Maori Trustee, which provides services to Maori land owners. During his time there, he has led significant change to the business model, branding and digital capabilities. Nick takes up his new position on 2 July.

Nick has always retained his passion for human resource management and credits his education, training and experience in this area as a key to his success in senior leadership roles. His appointment heralds a new chapter in HRINZ's history and he is looking forward to engaging early with members to get their views on how we should prepare and shape our Institute for the future.

I would also like to thank Baubre Murray, who has excelled in her role as Chief Executive - Interim during a difficult period. Baubre will continue to work with the National Office team until Nick arrives and then return to her role as an independent Director of the Institute.

Regards

Diane Edwards

HRINZ Board Chair
