Our strategic goals are transformational: Raising Professional Status; Shaping the Profession; Tailoring Service delivery.
HRNZ will be regarded as the professional body that employers expect their HR people to belong to. HRNZ members and, in particular, Chartered Members will be known for their expertise in leveraging people potential, enabling their organisations to succeed in a fast changing and competitive environment – in short People Powered Success.

In return, it is a privilege to support the HRNZ vision of helping leaders maximise the potential of their people. My aspiration is to make a significant contribution to the field of Human Resources in New Zealand. I am excited to be part of delivering career defining experiences and leading-edge tools that are world class to the HR profession in New Zealand.”
Whilst Board Chair, John Baillie, emphasised the importance of how we lead as a profession… “This is a really exciting time for HRNZ. In a more agile world, the importance of how we lead as a profession could not be more important. Our work on the board is to make sure we provide great value to you, our members, and help HRNZ lead the thinking across NZ.
We have a fantastic head office team and our branches are really thriving. We have also recently reinvested in our core membership technology, have a look at the new website if you haven't already done so. It is a great honour to help lead HRNZ at such a dynamic and exciting time.”
