Tēnā rā tātou katoa
What a privilege it has been for our Nelson Tasman Regional Branch Committee 2019, welcoming those of you who have attended our local events so far! To those of you who haven’t yet had the chance to attend any events, never fear, there are plenty more opportunities to come.
Nearly half of our committee are new to Nelson and we would like to acknowledge the work of our past HRNZ committees who have paved the way for us, making it easy to slot in and continue delivering initiatives that benefit our people. We would also like to thank our local community, whether you are new or an old-timer. You truly are keeping our HRNZ network humming!
A snapshot of our year so far;
- HR Connect at The Free House Pub, our first networking event that introduced the new committee and welcomed our local heroes. We also enjoyed a glass of wine together!
- HR Connect at Comida, discussing our table topic of “How to Run an Effective Meeting”. Oops, did I mention a glass of wine and some delicious nibbles sponsored by our friends from Pitt & Moore!
- SIG lunch event with Kay Chapman of Chapman ER, discussing the “Tricks and Traps of the Disciplinary Process”. This was during lunch, so Kay and her team made sure we had our caffeine and sugar fix before heading back to the office for the afternoon!
