The Human Resources Institute of New Zealand joins the condemnation of all acts of racism, terrorism and all those who preach intolerance and hate.  We are committed to diversity and inclusion, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other factors which people may use to discriminate.

Our thoughts go out the family and friends of those who are grieving.  We are deeply saddened that such a terrible act occurred.

We give thanks for those who provided support, those who risked their lives to end the attack; the community, police, medical services, council and others too numerous to mention. May this never occur again.
