Ten years ago, Amy Edmondson popularised the term “teaming”, saying that organisations thrive or fail based on how well small groups within them work collectively, not by the capabilities of individuals within them.
Team coaching is gaining global popularity as a way to bring “teaming” to life.
In this session we talk about ways that team coaching:
- differs from, facilitation, team building and other interventions
- supports high performance teamwork and high performance leadership
- can be used to bring strategy to life and enable change
- increases individual and team resilience – so important in our uncertain world
- facilitates culture change that ripples through organisations
We will also touch on the future of the discipline and developing trends overseas.
The session will be interactive and energetic, and learning points will be illustrated using current theory and research in the area, best practice and examples from real case studies.

Helen Zink, Grow To Be Limited
Helen Zink is a growth coach, leadership coach and team coach, with significant hands-on business and leadership experience at a senior level. Helen draws from a large toolkit, including coaching, team coaching, applied positive psychology, change management and other strategic tools and methodologies. She holds many qualifications and certifications, including: Senior Practitioner Team and Individual Coach with EMCC, Advanced Certification in Team Coaching and Professional Certified Coach with ICF, MSc (Coaching Psychology), MBA, BMS (hons), and others. Helen published Team coaching for organisational development: team, leader, organisation, coach and supervision perspectives in 2023.
